Now, currently watching a Korda YouTube vid where they have basically put the drone in air, seen fish and then later on the spot. It's a great insight and entertaining but just can't see that those captures can be as merited as without one.
Also watched a thinking anglers vid of oz Holnes on Milton abbots and once again a drone was utilised, once again, an amazing insight but surely it's cheating
What's others thoughts on this?

Drones probably fall into the same category as bait boats and fish finders.
It makes it a hell of a lot easier.
I'm just glad they are banned on the waters I fish.

I think, well personally, they are above bait boats n fish finders. They literally show you exactly where they are and what they are doing. It's great to watch but using it to help catch fish is to much for me. When you can put it In the air, find where the fish are and then go there just seems a little too easy, still got to catch Them but at least you know where they are and what they are doing

Catching fish at all costs by any means by desperate people terrified of failure in front of the cameras using high tech gadgets which in my opinion should be banned is not angling.
Milton Abbey is a heavily stocked small, shallow estate lake with white marker poles showing where the fish are regularly fed. Good honest angling my backside. You can blank on any fishery but anyone who needs much more than a rod and line to catch on here and then wants me to pay to watch yet another boring amateur video showing a procession of fish and little or no other content can whistle.

I was fishing a Birmingham park lake last summer when a lad decided to come and punish me with a load of utter crap . One of his plans was to get a drone to pinpoint fish on the pool .

It's **** mate - they are used on one of my Syndicates. Blokes launch them from the car park before even getting their gear out the van or even walking the lake. Literally fly it out of the back of their car - locate fish and then push their gear to the spot.
What can yo do eh. It's a big old water and to be honest, i don't want to pull off.

Carp fishing should be simple not all this crap, in my opinion you will never know if your doing something right or wrong if ur ysing all these equipment and for me thats where all the fun and competition and benefiting from catching on ur own changes comes in! For me the pleasure wouldnt be there using equipments its cheating. But i dont mind watching others doing it

What's wrong with using experience and knowledge to find carp rather than use a drone,I fish a canal that has over 14 of canal between locks it's hard enough to find them then never mind anything else
