As per the title has anybody owned or use the Stealh Cam compact Pro winch camera on their bait boats?
Toying with the idea of buying one not sure about how good the clarity etc would be seems to get good reviews?

I have the carp lounge version which is very good albeit it has been back recently when the wynch stopped working! I thought I would use mine loads but they are not easy to use. The camera spins through the water making it difficult to see things and you do need to be about 2 ft from the bottom before you can see anything. If it's choppy they are a nightmare because you pass over a spot in a split second and have no time to drop the rig. Having said that they do have their uses and whilst I have not seen the stealth version I have heard nothing but good reports about fisheye camera kits who do a range of different ones for all boats. May be worth having a look?

Had the fisheye sold it after 1 trip even when still the bottom flies past you can't view or it's hard to view rig hitting the deck it's all over the place didn't like it although the actual system i liked its much more portable than the stupid cumbersome heavy case that the carploumge is .The cl one does spin like mad but you can view your rig landing which is something I found impossible with the fisheye .I have ordered a stealth myself hopefully it will be better than the fisheye for this.Not sure but I think the problem may be the narrow camera angle on the fisheye and earliest stealth model .The stealth pro has a wider camera angle will let you know what I think i will be using it in around 3 weeks time.As a system I much prefer the fisheye and stealth they are much more portable and user friendly than the outdated stupid oversized box and lead acid battery

Yeah shame they take so long spoke to them 4 week turnaround. Probably get one lol

Ihave the stealth cam ( 8months) view angle is wider and pic quality is very good been down to 30 ft and can see the bottom due to the leds ...it has found me spots in very heavy weed . Also get a hi fin for cam that clips on.. to stop spinning.
look on his page to see how good they are... he is a very helpfull guy
And can be modded to work off your boat handset ,depending on handset channels.
All can be charged on the bank
only prob have to wait 4 weeks due to high demand.. worth it though

Ask him about it when you order a guy called Paul makes them for him it looks like the top of a marker float.. that clip on and u can change the angle of the camera to look sideways to view depending were u clip it...

He also adds weights on the fin to help with stability .My mate added much heavier weights on his origional stealth which helped a little bit .The camera is very light much smaller and lighter than the cl camera .Hoping the new pro is much better it certainly looks so on the footage.
