After a new landing net 42" 6ft handle for around £100 whats the best?

Welcome to the forum,a general rule is if Gerry recommends it's then it's very rarely wrong(if ever).You will get loads of opinions but Gerry has normally owned and used the items to give very honest feedback

This would be my recommendation also. I have the carbon version but I doubt there is much difference, excellent net.
You're also getting the 3' extension for £115 so very good value for a handmade item.

CB for me too. I have 2 of his nets 42 and 36 as well as 2 different handles. Mine are old and still great.
Just as an aside; I needed a new mesh recently for a ‘project' net. I bought a 36” net (no handle) sold by Westlake Pro (I think it is ‘go outdoors' house brand). The plan was to ditch the spreader and arms and just use the mesh.....
But the whole thing is actually very serviceable. It cost £8.50 including delivery. They sell 42” also.
That leaves £90 odd for a handle. Buy a Gardner extending one (or one from Tacklebox in Kent) and you have a decent net for well under £100.
