I was just about to pull the trigger on a pair of 8ft ESP Stalkers 2.75lb but have since come across Korum Opoortunist X 2.5lb in 8ft which aesthetically I actually prefer and i prefer the slightly lesser test curve (i prefer the idea in theory but cant get rod in hands to check) ... im still thinking the ESP are the safe bet ... but ...

Does anyone have any experience of the Korums?
Anything else i should consider under £100?

I dont want retractable thanks and I would prefer lower than 2.75lb ideally

I've just bought a set of the 8ft in 2.5lb nice rods for the money still yet to catch anything on them but nice rods for the money and also good thing is that they fit in the Sonik 10ft xtractor single rod sleeves if need rod sleeves for them

Ok great, i ididnt expect anyone to have a set of the Korums .Are the handles standard length? ... Are they light in the hand, slim blank?

Yeah nice slim blank and feels light in hand and the handle length is 16 1/2 inches long from very bottom of reel seat thread to bottom of the butt

Thankyou .... I dont suppse you have seen the ESP Stalker to compare the actual rod ? (i know Stalker has shorter handle)

Can't compare them but ESP stalker handle is shorter as you say, nice through action, brown blank

I have a pair of the ESP 8ft 2.75lb stalkers, but never tried the others. They are a nice short rod to use, the handle is quite short but manageable.
