Was diagnosed with arthritis in me knee a couple of weeks back and the meds they gave me messed me up so I'm in the queue for a steroid injection.

Been looking around and tumeric, glucosamine and vit c/d are supposed to help with inflammation etc.

Is this right and anyone point me in the direction of a decent supplement brand or would a high street option from somewhere like boots be OK?

Cheers

Thanks for the video and explanations.

I like cycling. I often cycle, about three-six times a week. These later weeks, I feel pain in my knee. My father had multiple knee surgeries, and finely a knee replacement. I'd like to avoid surgeries. I do take joint supps from Canada Drugs pharmacy, but I'm thinking if there are any other preventive methods? Please share your suggestions.

If your knee is giving you pain recently, you need to to give it a rest or you will make it worse.
It sounds a but like your hammering it too much with the cycling.
Pain in the knee joint can be a sign of arthritis or some loose cartilage, some people get their knees scoped and cleaned out and that can give relief from it. The surgeries now days are a lot better than probably the ones that your father had in the old days, the success and recovery times are a lot quicker.

That's really interesting thank you, I mostly cook with coconut oil, but didn't know about the foods - or omega 6 in general tbh.

I've moved on a bit with managing my arthritis pain and feels like I'm close to a formula for me.

2-4 Cocodamol and jointace max sups everyday.

I've stopped wearing sliders/flip flops/slippers and now wear quite firm trainers or shoes every day.

New office chair is more firmer/ergonomic and set higher so I'm not slouching

I stretch/roll out foot, calf, hamstring and quad everyday.

Still can't walk great distances but I do feel like that isn't too far off now 👍

Knee pain is something I'd try to avoid leaving for later. The pain you can have over time can be unbearable. Therefore, my advice is to make sure you treat it as well and as soon as possible. If it's giving you pain recently, I would recommend you give it a rest and see a doctor to check if it's not arthritis or some loose cartilage. Also, make sure you take all the necessary supplements for your bones and cartilages, especially those focusing on your joints. You can take a look at the review of Morning Complete as it might be something you'd be interested in.
Are you sure?
