I'm after a couple of smallish free spool reels primarily for my barbel rods on the Trent but will also use them on my 10ft rods for smaller waters. I have got a pair of Shimano 6000 but fancy something different and both the Okuma Aventa 6000 and Daiwa Emcast BR 5000 would appear to fit the bill. Has anyone got any feedback on either of these reels or is there anything else I should consider in the sub £100 area

I've just bought my 12 year old an Okuma Dynadrag 6000, and it seems fine. Nicely balanced on a 10' rod. Haven't used it yet, but it's loaded with line and it looks bob on. It was £36, I'd guess the Okuma Aventa will be fine, as it's a higher spec reel than the Dynadrag.
