I have the original Delkim txi's mk1 and I'm wondering whether it's worth upgrading to the new txid's . What's your thoughts please ?

Ive had them all over the years and all been great apart from water ingress issues with the txi plus. I havent had anny issues with the d's they are excellent and ive had them 2 years now and they get a battering on the trent and have been faultless..

I still have the old delks, and probably wont change until both sets give out.
If you were to change then as long as your alarms are in good nick you'll be able to fetch a good price for them to offset the cost of the new ones.

Thanks for the replies . I love my mk1's and have had no problems . Knowing that I may have problems if they do go wrong with spare parts etc i thought that it might be wise to upgrade before any problems may occur . They could on the other hand go for another 20 years with no problems - decisions ! 🤔 I'm not sure what the txid's would give me over my originals , thanks.

Keep using them,I have a set and thought the same as yourself and still prefer the mk1's over the D's

Not much really. The digital receiver signal will be the main one, no crackle and hit and miss signal.

The reception is much better, battery life is also improved, similar tone matched to alarms, a better alarm all round imo.
