I'm looking at changing my pod to a black label qr pod.
Anyone got one that can give pros and cons on it would be appreciated.
I have the stalker plus now which is cracking pod but fancy a change.

I've had the earlier Black Label pod for about 3 years, to me a great bit of kit, folds down small enough to go in my ruckbag, very light. I do anchor it with a strap and two pegs. Still going strong and not looking at changing any time soon. I do use narrow fixed 3 rod buzz bars, I always split my rods, two on the pod and the third on sticks.

In case you haven't seen one in the flesh I would recommend seeing one. The one I saw was very compact and the fixed bars were very narrow, three big pit reels would be a very tight fit.

I got the first edition, which I admit don't use much as a pod is a last resort for me, but it's a handy size to stash in your car / bag.
I bought another of the longest 3 rod fixed buzz bars to match the front bar, as this was the only way my rods with 8010GT baitrunners would fit on ( Idon't think the 3 rod extendable bars are longer than the fixed either)
I certanily wouldn't get three 12 footers with emblems on, to fit

It's not actually that narrow, I had some 14000 ci4 on mine before I sold it. All you have to do is have all the handles facing downwards and it's fine

I have the adjustable fox compact, like u say ok if your handles on big reels are stretegicly placed, but I only use it with smaller reels to be honest, had it long time , great and light.

And set up like that the reels are touching each other, if you get a take on the centre rod you can't just grab it and lift. It may look tarty being so compact but it's form over function. Note you no longer have yours.

I have exactly that .... 12ft rods and three emblems. The fit is tight but they fit fine without having to fold handles and all that fuss.
For me it's a great pod but as the name suggests it is compact. If you are looking for something more spaced out then its probably not the best option.
It is also very lightweight which is a positive for transport etc. But would benefit from some sort of anchor system.

Sorry but I don't agree all you have to do is lift and twist at the same time not exactly hard is it lol and mine definitely didn't touch, I only sold mine because I upgraded to all jag bankware/pods else I would still have it

Cool thanks for the advice.
I use the larger ci4 big pit baitrunners so defo sounds to tight.
Especially the middle one getting a take on it and trying to reset at night would be a pain so I'll have a rethink.

Jag black super compact mk2 is wider mate, I bought it reason being the quality is so much better. That's the reason I sold my black label compact it seemed very poorly made. Yeah it fit but the buzz bars quality is awful

You can always use wider buzz bars if you want more space.
