Is the standard fortis bag big enough for someone 6'3 and 15st. Currently got a gardner plus bag which fits my solar wide sp bed perfectly but its taking up to much room in the car and like the pack down size of the fortis but not sure if it will be big enough for me.
I am 6 ‘3” 16 stone , loads of room in the Fortis .

stu I've got the fortis bag, im 6/3 and 17 stone and its fine for me,
Ive also got an sp c tech both standard and wide version It fits the standard but not the wide version

Cheers Rob, i didnt think it would fit my wide sp bed which is the only thing putting me off a bit. Ive never had a bag that dosent fit over the end of my bedchair so not sure how much of a pain in the ass it will be not being attached to the bed. Have you used it on the wide one mate? Whats it like when its not attached to the bed? I

you could always buy some Tarp Clip Crocodile Mouth clips and a length of bungy cord

Not sure I would have faith in a bag that's not waterproof especially if not using a cover all the time. Only taken a bit of rain coming in, or soaked clothes sitting on chair, otherwise looks gd.

Not tried it on the wide I very rarely use the wide as think it's overkill to be honest I only have it as mate was selling cheap so took it as a spare if guests come and leave my ca cover on it
(which is ace by the way with the clip in fur)
I'd imagine if you clip it underneath it wouldn't move too much, worst case put a thermal cover on top and clip it should steady it at a bit

👍🏻 I needed the wide version as i sleep similar to recovery position as always have one knee up and legs spread. My knee always used to rest on the frame with the standard version and was really uncomftable.

Would of been a lot lighter and take up less room in the boot as the wide version nearly fills the boot on its own.
