I've not really every taking mutch notice of the price of diesel. I've mainly always filled up at my local sainsbury. But after having a few problems with my car. I started using shell petrol station for a better fuel. Started using the super diesel in my car. Well I thort today I'd just compare the 2 prices. When my fuel light comes on. In sainsbury I put just over £57 in 2 feel the tank up. But in shell it was costing me just over £70 a tank. Its a hell of a lot of different over the year I price. I no the likes of shells fuel is ment 2 be far better than the normal supermarket fuel

Tests were done and the super stuff benefits were minimal and didn't justify the price!
V Power Diesel in Milton Keynes is £1.67 and normal Diesel at Tesco is £1.41.......stick to normal diesel and every 4 tank fills use something like Archoil.......

My garage told me the difference in diesel is with the additives. They said to me to fill up every now and then with a premium diesel as it has detergents in it that budget supermarket fuel doesn't have.

I have a company shell card so have to use it
I think they would be better off with something like all star
I do beIieve they have a tie in on fuel prices so the 1.54 I pay at the pump isn't what they pay on the bill

Correct Vince, but it's not worth it through premium fuels when you can buy the additives far cheaper Here.......

Diesel can't get any more diesely. I'm honestly suprised they still have that stuff of the forecourts. People must actually fill up with it 
Pretty much all fuel will come from the same refineries, each distributor will add there own additives once in the tanks.
