I'm looking to treat myself to a solar p1 pod with the 3 rod buzz bars. Do any of you guys have one ? Are thay as good as thay look ? Also Where's the best place / price to get one from ? As thay are a lot of money for the set up. Thanks for any info

Simple answer is yes they are good, and you will need the Solar buzz bars.
Mine gets used almost every time I fish, because it is stable and strong.
I did get mine direct from Solar, so I honestly don't know best price., but I think Johnson Ross may be worth a look. They have pod with fixed bars or pod with adjustable separately

Okay thanks for that info. I use to have the old solar sod pod but found it to be not that stable. So the p1 looks stable.

I had a sod pod and they benefited from having a tri post. The new sod pod has the anti twist built in although I have used their world wide since 2005.
