As per the title i have an original sod pod which i would like to use.
the uprights are rather high and i dont want to chop it about
and the cost of the solar uprights is extortion anyone made home brew uprights?

or would i be better off contacting someone like Defiant MPS or CAS for making some?

One 4"and two 6" on ebay now couple of Tri posts as well, pants down time though people thinking stainless is the new gold.

You only need to buy one upright

Don't mess around doing chopping and other stuff,..put the front upright on the rear of your pod..

Put the discarded 9incher to one side,go on ebay and buy the 4 inch adjustable upright,I paid 25 quid for mine..

Making sure the knurled centre boss locking ring faces downwards, so water runs away,and not into the knurled locking ring..

It's now lower,more stable,looks better,and you have the optional 9 inch to use ,and you will use it..!

Be patient, they come up in ebay,mine was a buy it now..,the 4inch one I mean..

As mentioned bin the 9” and get a 4” for the front and put 6” on the back. The 2” is to small. I still use my sod pod now and again. Ive seen the 9” long triposts go for over £100 😱
