This is regarding the original skull cap not the new wrap.
How do you find it for staying attached? Does it work well or is it
a faff to put it up and down.

Hi. I fitted mine once and it's stayed on since no problems.
Obviously I have loosen each corner and then through it over the back when I ‘break' the Brolly.
I'm just careful to tuck it all away neatly before rolling up.

As said just loosen the straps,.lay the poles ontop on the tempest and the fold it away. Stays on fine and makes it no more difficult to pack away

Cheers guys. I've been in two minds between the skull cap wrap and the skull cap. Or not bother at all as I have a full pio.
But my club has built new pegs that are manufactured but less room. And I just bought a winter ticket on a tiny gaff with very cramped swims. I have to push the bivvy right into a boarded up corner and it's tough enough to get round to peg. So the skull cap would be easier to use. And somone on my local FB marketplace is selling a 100 cap cheap second hand.

Thanks guys. Picking it up tonight.
All fitted. Put down and then back up. Only issue bit of a wiggle to secure the front porch poles into one of the spigots. Wrestle in and out. I guess it's not been machined perfectly
Not taking the mick, you put the poles in before tightening the straps? I find working left to right then tightening the straps is easiest.

Its a fair question. First time I tried it was only thrown over as I wanted to check they fitted. The middle is perfect. Right needs a little jigging. And left one is like an evo that's got stuck.

They are a bit temperamental sometimes, I've even popped one of the spigots out of mine before, they pop back in easily enough though
