I read Petes writings sometimes,it transports me to another world a time when everything seemed to make sense,and the world seemed simpler..

It reminds me of Mr Crabtrees books and others of that era.

Surely something can be done to keep his writings for posterity,so other people with an interest of times gone by,and a real life spent in the countryside,warts and all..

My question is ,how safe,or easy is it for these memories to be lost..

Seriously ,something should be done,but what ,by whom,maybe his family should sort something,maybe someone like fennel Hudson,should be involved ,I don't know..

Anyone agree with me?

Yes, after all the hard work of life and fishing, all we have are memories of these loved ones, or times.

Back in the day you only had physical hard/soft books to hand, or hand written diaries to stir thoughts or ideas, now it is added to a website, photo host server, safe and sound, or potentially lost in the click of a mouse or button as 'online' T&C's sometimes changes.

Probably questions best answered by the mods, like Carlos.
