Hi all,
As title suggests we're looking for a venue in either northern france (with 2hrs of Calais) or Belgium for a weekend trip next year. We've got friends in Belgium that we are hoping to meet at the venue and I already have a couple of week trips booked for next year so doubt I'll get away with a 3rd week away from the wife in 2022!! LOL.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Not fished there for 4 years but had three great trips to Blues lake 1 in Belgium, would thoroughly recommend and certainly worth checking out.
Hear Blues 2 might be worth looking at as well.
Approx 2 hours from Calais

I'll second blues lake, not so sure about lake 2, it's not small but tiny:O
But blues lake 1 is very nice, nice scenery, nice people, stunning fish.
If you are looking more in the south of belgium i would suggest moulin de boiron. 2 lakes, the big one which is just fine fishing wise and a small little paradise behind that, which i would rank in the top 5, 3 maybe, of most beautiful lakes i've ever fished.
Be warned, they also have a hotel and a restaurant and the basil fawlty is superstrong in that one. Boy, those owners know how to make you feel uncomfortable and stress out over every little rule they have come up with. But, you can also book just a fishing arrangement and then you are in for a very relaxing stay. Anyways, we've drunk quite a few irish coffees there on the bank, and then all becomes hilarious again, especially since the fish and the scenery are top notch.

Sure: https://www.moulindeboiron.com/nl/p/home
I see it's not in english, but most browser support instant translation. And they have a new chalet, i didn't know that
All in all, i think it's best to just contact them if you are interested and see what is possible for your group, there seem to be a lot of possibilities. Not cheap btw
