Hi does anyone know of any venues in France where I can book for myself. Most of the places I've looked up seem to be group bookings

You must be looking at the wrong sort of venues, I would have thought 90% of the venues accept solo bookings, I never had a problem in the past.

France is full of lakes and rivers. Buy a carte de peche and crack on

Much more rewarding catching from a public river or lake rather than from an overstocked commercial of which most of them are.

You may suffer some blanks but the rewards are there.
