If I was driving over to France 🇫🇷 what would you recommend for vehicle breakdown cover?
Not necessary the cheapest but the best and reliable cover.
I'm only going the once in my car (my other trips are in a van 🚚
Cheers Mike

When I used the company van they said I had to get one with repatriation cover as it could cost a fortune to get the vehicle back
I think I used RAC

Have a word with your insurers, sometimes breakdown cover with them has European cover ,or it can be added. Mine come with, I have 2 weeks cover per year on the continent

I used eversure for my recent trip, didn't need them so can't comment on how good they are, but they covered everything you'll need and quite cheap.

AA Euro cover single or multi trip cover
Having broke down on a French motorway they were superb arranging everything from taxis to hire vehicles
My car was transported back to the uk and was back within 4 days and apart from paying for fuel for the hire vehicle it didn't cost a thing apart from the initial policy cover

I used coverwise underwritten by axa a couple years ago after a discount found on moneysavingexpert website.
Had to claim and had no issues
But my insurer does annual cover including euro for about £40 ish a year last year and cheaper this year after taking a better policy with them and having it included as standard (hastings gold or something) but still less than last year's cover
