After 2 years of use I've killed the tyre on my Fox Explorer Deluxe. Linear have conducted some extensive tree felling and disturbed a lot of the ground so I think something has put put a tear in the tyre itself. The tyre exploded in the back of my van as I think the inner tube must have been poking through. The wheel had been Redwinged from new as per recommendations on here.
I like the thoughts on puncture proof but also hear they are a pain to push. Who has replaced and what for please. I'm seeing lots of 14” wheels on the net but unsure what to go for. Any suggestions greatly received

I have fitted the carp porter puncture proof from eBay.They are a bit tougher to push but knowing I'm never going to have a flat tyre again makes it worth imo

lots of em blew up years ago, mine did it recently too To be honest i think i overfilled it and then it was just a accident waiting to happen as the inner tube forces itself outta and cracks in the tyre then punctures. Anyway i bought a replacement one frompetrol scooters on ebay. also replaced the bearings with the prestige ones which seem a lot better than the ones in the current wheel. No further issues since with that wheel..

I have the carp-porter puncture proof and have no complaints at all. I had to shorten the spacers on my barrow to make it fit. (its a saber all trax barrow)

I've got both a Fox Explorer and a Nash Trax, I'm going to try and have a play and get the bigger wheel from the trax onto my explorer.
My original tyre literally exploded in the back of the car a few weeks ago

I had a cheap puncture proof one once like in the picture,it was bloody horrible to push.They are too spongy if you carry quite a bit of gear,it felt like I had a flat tyre

To be fair for a tenner if it only lasts another two years im not too fussed. Will get me money's worth out of it in that time

I'm impressed so far. Original max pressure was 25psi, this is 35psi. It also feels more rubbery and less plasticy if that makes sense

I tried a Carp Porter puncture proof , to guard against explosions
But it proved a bitch to push
I looked around a finally found a suitable tyre , while searching mini motorbike tyres
More rubberised than barrow tyres
I filled the inner tube with the green stuff from Halfords as a preventative ,
so far so good
