Any up to date reviews on these? Almost look to good to be true at that price? Is the battery life good?

I got the Actor Mk1, then upgraded to the sonar package and added an external on/off switch nd power socket.
For the money I find it does just what i want, drops little packages of particle where I need it.
Also tow a Deeper Pro+ off the back of it when II need better bottom definition within 50 yds.

I had one for a while - the Mk3 (I suppose) GPS boat.
Generally very good.
GPS was useful. The home return was very useful. Battery life was very good.
However it didn't like high winds and rough water (I am not talking a heavy ripple here) - if it got beam on it had trouble recovering. Its lightness was the issue here.
The most annoying thing I found though was the GPS. It was mostly accurate to within a few feet (normal) but when sending the boat to a mark it would describe an arc always travelling to the left before slowly travelling to the mark. It never took a straight route to it. This doesn't sound like an issue but you risk running into obstacles like the bank if your mark is near it. It would do this even if you took the thing out manually and only used the GPS for last few yards. It would also sometimes miss the mark it was aiming at and suddenly turn to have another go - not good if you have line attached to it.
As I said though, generally very good as long as you keep an eye on what it is doing on autopilot..
