Following from the other thread re soaking baits in honey.
what other powders and liquids do people use, ideally get a list of things that are not always sources from "carp bait barons" so say a supermarket sweep
thinking along the lines of
Garlic & spices
Honey
Fish sauces

Squid brand fish sauce is a winner. The salt content can act as a very short term preservative. Ideal for long sessions.
Baileys/own brand Irish cream, brilliant all year round but in winter it's even better I've found.
Maggi liquid seasoning
Golden syrup with maize
Marmite
Condensed milk with groats or fine particle mixes
I've played with diluting Nutella and peanut butters (organic ones) but can't say I noticed a difference apart from the boilies snelling and tasting lovely.
Garlic and fenugreek are brilliant additives. Both have appetite stimulant properties.
Chilli flakes or powders, cayenne if you want the heat but not the chilli taste.
Sugar, I normally use dark brown, for maples and tigernut prep
Red bull or Coca Cola for tigernut prep
Just to start the list. Honestly a supermarket is a goldmine for additives if you want to experiment!
