I need to get a new retention sling big enough to take to France, nothing mega expensive... Any recommendations please?

What would you class as mega expensive?
I use the Trakker XL retention sling and can't fault it.

The trakker ones take some beating in xl version, very similar to the Sonik....

Deffo the Trakker XL. A good £50.00 worth when I bought it 2 seasons ago.

Another one for the Trakker don't think you need anything else

Fox str are very good

Yep trakker xl sanctuary for me as well...takes the big fish nicely

I have a Chub version, very good - think I paid about £35 but not sure.

Agree, good bit of kit. Wouldn't use anything else now.

Are carp sacks banned or just a faff to use?

Yeh a lot of places have banned sacks for good reason

These new retention slings are a world away from the old sacks that we used

I like the way you can get your fish still in your net into these tupe of slings then lift them out, really good
