Anyone seen them in the flesh, or had a tinker?
Just seen the film with Mark Bartlett.
Same concept as the COG leads, but with a couple of differences.
Did the COG leads really take off, not used them in their current form, but used a similar version when they first came up on media (think it was a Korda printed brochure, remember them).
Only up to 4oz tho.

Never understood the COG lead thing. Just seemed like an over complicated but worse way to get the same effect as an inline lead. I dont think thet ever caught on. Dont even see the korda boys use them anymore.

Also very similar to the Angletec lead system. Don't think the Korda COG leads really took off, think some people bought them after seeing Underwater 8 but phased out quite quickly. Don't see any of the Korda boys using them anymore.

I use the cog system, although I had some leads made for far less than Korda charge. It's a good system. The avid looks ok although I'm not sure how well the rubber would hold in the slot on the lead with a stick attatched
