As the title suggests I'm looking for suggestions for waterproof over trousers for when you get caught out in the rain that are both breathable and lightweight.

ive gone for the aqua torrent ,having owned the dpm gortex and the peter storm over trousers,these are comfy, a good fit and breathable and waterproof and they pack away into a nice small stuff sack,pricey but hopefully worth it. bought the coat to match.

I use the castle clothing airflex 921 waterproof trousers for both work and fishing and their very good quality for the money and waterproof and breathable under £20 aswell look on eBay

These are very lightweight and very good. Used them for trekking in the Himalayas and fishing here. Pack down size is very small but definitely a good option if not quite as robust as some on the market.
