Morning!

a mate of mine has some minor mouse inflicted damage to the but section of his full cork handles. he is keen to get a repair done, does anyone have any recommendations for a repairer? he is in the Plymouth area, so someone in the south west would be really handy.

Ask your local tackle shop, they may know someone.

Tell him to do it himself , if he gets in touch i will tell him what and how to do it .

Sawdust mixed with pva glue, or rod dancer pit paste.

Brummers exterior wood filler is the best , sold by hopkins holloway as brummers cork filler , the pit paste is good but goes off in the container very quickly , but i would have thought if mice have been at them they would need some cork replacing.

having spoken with my mate, I think he would prefer to find someone willing to repair. thanks for the advise however.

Well if he struggles to find someone he can send them to me but the courier cost would be expensive - £30 each way

thanks for the offer, but i fear postage makes it unviable. will keep an eye out for a local builder.
