Any suggestions for a pair of lightweight quick dry trousers that are non carp branded, even better if they have zip off legs to make them shorts.

I did have a look at them, are the ones that have the anti bug/mozzi stuff in them worth the extra coin.

Craghoppers website has the kiwi trousers on at £22.50,I have had my black ones i use for work for 5 years and still look like new.The lined ones for winter are brilliant too,I bought mine after Gerry recommended them 👍
These are expensive, though they'll dry out whilst walking in them if you don't bother re-treating them...

I have a pair of vidda pros, amazing trousers, only had the 6 months but they're good as new. I have waxed the knees and arse on mine, it doesn't make a huge difference when kneeling down but it's better than nothing

Had mine since 2008 - I'm sure they're the same ones, cost £120 back then from the same shop - other than a few bits of stitching coming loose, there the same as when I bought them minus re-proofing them. Been up mountain's with them, fishing with them.etc. Hands down the best trousers I've ever had.
They're very similar to the SAS 80's smock material wise, once you get going if they're soaked and it's not peeing down or freezing cold, they soon dry out. Like I was saying, they're not cheap but they'll last for years and years. You made a wise choice

Anyone know of a thick thermal trouser that has thinner material in the lower leg area? I need to be able to jump into my waders quick & thermal trousers always bunch up making it almost impossible to get the waders on.
