Which would be the best bite alarm and receiver set for someone new to night fishing? Sonik SKS or the NDS9 set with rechargeable battery?

No experience of either but I'd go for the SKS so you can carry a few spare AAA's round with you.
Running out of charge on the bank with the NDS9 would be a proper nightmare.

Not many people use sonik alarms really, most use delkim fox Nash Neville's or atts so you will struggle for help

without question IMHO these are a steal at this price better than alarms costing 3 times the price IMHO
but be quick as they are selling out fast when they are gone they are gone
