Did anybody change there line rollers from orginal to Weston developments titanium once's with the bearings?
One of my orginal rollers is making some weird noises..:-)

If they are noisy they'll just need a good clean and light oil, remember the end cap is a left hand thread.
I did toy with the idea of the Weston titanium ones, but to me the ball races are totally superfluous, unless they are a press fit into the bail and on the shaft they may as well just be solid bearings like the original design.
Also whether the Weston design of roller is better that Daiwa's designed roller is also doubtful too.

Take it apart, making a note what order the parts are in, and clean the small roller bearings.
Wash out in a cupful of really hot soapy water to remove any grease, oil and other debris.
Dry out with some kitchen roll, then out into a cup and blast with a hair dryer, rotating the ball race occasionally, until its really hot and dry.
Then once cool turn the bearing in your fingertips and feel for any signs of roughness.
If its smooth then clean the bearing housing and reassemble, use a couple of drops of 3 in 1 to lubricate.
I recently serviced a few reels.
One was a bit iffy compared to the others so when greased and reassembled it was still a bit iffy i then decided to do a full strip down. Only once the bearings where cleaned out and dried could i feel the slight signs of bearing wear.
New bearings fitted, greased and reassembled and silky smooth.
