Looking for some long term reviews on these please?
For the money they really good value compared to some of the other retractabale rods.
I was thinking of going for the 10ft 3.5 versions to fish a water where sometimes you need to chuck it 90 yards+ with a small bag.
Also I was just wondering if these are shorter length handles?

The thing is with xtractors they are at the right price for the rod you get unlike some others that are way over priced

Have 2 X 10ft 3.25, owned them over a year now and had fish to 26lb with them, I can cast 100 yards plus at a push. They've had some hammer as during last year I was doing 5 days a week as I was out of a job for close to 6 months.
I've never done any bag work with mine but have no doubt I'd manage 70-80 yards with a 1.5-2oz lead and a small bag. Plenty of power in them and a nice feel to play fish on, for the money they are great. I have them in cork which I'd change for the shrink now as they feel a bit chunky in the hand but that's a small gripe and personal preference.
In regards to handle length, in fairly certain these do have shorter handles but this has never bothered me, I'm only 5ft 6 so maybe that has something to do with it.

I've had the 9ft 3lb TC cork handled rods for over a year and I'm really impressed, I use them 2-3 times a week for short sessions and they've stood the test of time well so far.
I've never had to cast far with them, but they're good fish players with plenty of backbone to stop fish. I've had fish to low 30s from fairly weedy lakes and had no problem. I wouldn't want to go any stiffer as I think you'd lose some enjoyment playing smaller fish.

Thanks all, actually started looking at the Sonik Insurgent rods too. Although a fair bit more expensive they look like a very good spec and similar to the Scopes.

In a couple of months I'm hoping to do the same, for no real reason other than I prefer the way they look and to change to shrink handles

I was going to recommend the insurgent Ad are doing the 9ft for £100 each great rods for the price forget scopes overpriced

Hey mate,
I‘m fishing a pair of the 3.5 10ft Xtractors about 1,5 years.
These rods, for that money=Perfect choice!
Caught many carps and the biggest had 23 kilos. Nice control any time and you can cast about 120g easily for about 100 Meters or put some heavy PVA bags on your rig.
