As the titles says looking for a syndicate water to join don't mind travelling around an hour from Manchester. Sick to death of day ticket fishing now and struggling to find decent waters to join or get on a waiting list. It seems they're all blessed down south. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Syndicates few and far between in our neck of the woods. There's a few decentish clubs in Cheshire, namely Warrington AC, Lymm AC, Winsford DAA, Northwich. I'd have a look at them initially, and also get your name down for PAAS - there's a 2 year waiting list, but that meant be OK. I'm on the waiiting list, hopefully for membership in 2023.

I'd set your sights slightly longer in time/distance..the Nene Valley is 150 miles each way ,a good place to start looking

Worth a pm to defiant one on here. He runs a couple of waters in Lancashire and from his posts, knows his onions

I live in Rochdale mate and share your pain, my only saving grace I'm a member of Wheelock AS and I enjoy a few trips a year to Lakemore near Crewe. As someone has suggested, Keith is a good shout as he runs at least one water privately in the area but yes also get your name down on PAAS (2 year wait?) which has changed from when I was last in it 20 years ago.

I'd also get yourself a Stockport Fed Ticket, I think it's about £40 for two rods and there is the likes of Compstall Country Park, Reddish Vale, Poynton etc to go at but days only. I'm going to buy a ticket next year as I quite fancy Compstall even if dawn to dusk when there's only time for a short sesh.
