Some replace the krill with 100g squid meal
There are some spices in it as well
Great basemix - I love it

If you buy it ready made from BAF 30 grams of spices are in the mix.
Chilli and paprika at 15 grams each from memory.

Just checked the cost of this on another bait company site and the cost of your mix came in at £49.25 for 10 kg so buy it individually see all your ingredients and save £10 rather than buying it mixed up.

Not sure about betain levels.
Not tried adding liquid to mine.
Most users go 40 plus 40 ml though

how firm/soft dose the trop basemixe end up after boiling untill the first bait floats then all out? dose it get a hard skin on it due to the milk content ? recommend drying times? anyone with experience using this mix some info would be great

There is a suggested liquid content on the BAF website - which in my experience makes the bait quite soft if you only boil until the first bait floats. Of course I need to add to that that I am generally making larger baits 18-24mm and so it might be different for smaller baits. Typically I am boiling for 90 seconds and the bait is still quite soft
I have used it with just eggs as dickweed has suggested and caught on it,
