Has anyone used this? Also considering kontour.... All comments welcome good and bad

I've been using it for the last few years or so after moving over from x line. Up until 2 weeks ago I really loved it and got on with it well.
Last years trip to france I couldn't get the 15lb and ended up with what actually seems to be 27lb I think according to Berkley website. Got the version that's supposed to be 15lb for French trip i just got back from and swapped it as kept snapping up. Went back to the 27 and still got snapped up loads (had no issues at all with it last Oct / Nov).
I'm not sure if this has completely put me off as hooked a few cats that ran me ragged and through snags. I stripped loads of yards off but possibly missed something, not sure.
That said, I will strip this line for next year, will start with a fresh spool of it and have a backup just in case.

I had it on for 6 months and was happy, then for no apparent reason it deteriorated and could easily just snap with your hands. Wouldn't touch it again.

Thank you for your input much appreciated. Just out of curiosity what fluorocarbon are you using now if any and any recommendations.

Found the CF600's abrasion resistance to be poor. Currently use the kontour which I do like, just a pita it only comes in 200m spools

I used it in 12lb and sent it back to the shop after 1st use for a refund - snapped like cotton. Am now using tiger line - much more expensive but have 100% confidence in it.

Not a massive fan of flouro tbh and fish braid where possible, but I have a set of spools with 20lb x-line on for when it's the best option.

Daiwa floorit super soft is very good. Highly abrasion resistant, sinks like a stone, cheap too.
