I'm going night fishing for the first time in a couple of weeks. What sort of time do you get to a lake if its to do a 24h? Do lakes let you get there anytime you want and it's 24h from then or is it a set time say in the morning you got to be there and then you leave 24h from that time? I don't have a clue as I've never done a night fish so it's all new to me..

depends on the lake rules for night fishing, some are from morning opening, another I fish is from 4pm setup from 3pm.

Get there as early as rules allow tbh especially nowadays as everywhere gets rammed.

As said, all lakes are different.

There is one lake near me that is 8am till 8am. £30 a night, you have to be off at 8am even if you turned up at 6pm. Needless to say i dont fish there.

If its your first time check out rules before arrival and try and make sure you get there in plenty of time to check out the lake and swims and set up before dark. If you do ever arrive at a lake (especially a new one) in the dark just remember the possible chaos you can cause if you don't use your noddle.

Best ring up or look on web, get there in the light with plenty of time to set up , find the fish , and walk around and punish a few people,
