So I don't drive I plan my fishing round my holidays and family commitments with my partner and step kids(I don't live with them),so anyway few trips some for a week done for a night or few days and a few hours here and there.
Im on a bad run 1 fish in a year a little common and 1 loss I fish mainly free areas canals public lakes etc where I've had good success before(fish up to 32lb from a canal) but on a bad run right now,so I've had a change of plan this week I can finish early every day bar Friday so I'm going to bait up a part of canal again it's worked in past and fish Wednesday afternoon from 7pm till 11:30 I think see what happens.
Anyone else been on a bad run of lack of fish.

I'm struggling finding them on the canals this year, and have resorted to dropping a bit of bait in here and there, but still no show. Gonna have to dig the pushbike out before I have another go. It's no good fishing for something that isn't there

It's a 14 mile stretch between locks so to be honest they could be anywhere I heard one of the 30lb mirrors had died but the other mirror and the common I had are still around apparently
