Anyone know Do you think 30llb braid is strong enough for a deeper pro on a spod rod and reel what size braid do people use for this set up thanks

50lb Armakord leader and 58lb braid is what I use. I use it on the Trent, and as Gerry says, if it cracks off it's gone!

50lbs whiplash for me, not worth taking the chance and the cost is the same generally as the 30 lbs

I use 80lb power pro with a wire trace you never know if a pike will try grabbing it
