I'm looking at getting some new reels and considering a Mitchell as I've always rated their smaller models for my feeder and float fishing.
Anyone use their carp reels? Any recommendations or warnings?

I have a set of the Avocast 7000 and also a set of the free spool versions. Top reels for the money, you will not get better. I've also just bought my lad a set of the FS for his 21st.

No probs makes. For info, I have the Mitchell's as previously stated. These are my big pit reels for larger waters. I also have Okuma 6000 inc reels on my 10' setup. These are classed as mini big pit reels. Both Mitchell & Okuma reels are very good. Okuma also do a big pit, as well a free spool version of the 6000 Incs. I'm sure all the Okuma models will be as good as the 6000 incs.
