Anyone here fish it... rating out of 5 for venue and fish quality and any other opinions ..thanks

Yes fished out a few times over the years. Mainly on pits 5,6 which is basically one lake. It's a lake exclusive now so no longer a day ticket. It was bought out a few years back and a lot of work has been done to it building swims etc. I'd say if you were fishing it for a day give the match or pit 1 ago probably two of the easier lakes to fish. Pit 2 has the bigger fish so is generally more busy. Theres a few members lakes also. The fish seem to be in very good nick. There is a barbless hook rule in place. Not crushed barbs ( like theres a diffrence) they will check. And on a lot of the lakes they insist you use a walled mat. Bio security is good they like you to dip your nets and mats before you fish. An all round good fishery in my opinion.

Thanks for the reply I actually rang them and had a walk about yesterday some of the things you say are in place but seems theyve done a few changes 3 seems to be the only exclusive now unless i miss understood (highly likely) .. 2 seems full of fish walking around on a hot day shows every where.. they allow micro barbed now on 2 not sure on the others and walled mats or raised only... speaking to them there will be on going changes over the coming year and a bigger building for shop, cafe etc seems pretty well run... and from recent pictures in the office and on their facebook page a fair few fish have come out even during the hot spell ..

Yep fished it just as the new owners were making changes a couple of years back. Nice place and lovely fish. IIRC pits 3 & 4 are members only. Pit 6 is lake exclusive. Pits 7 & 2 have bigger fish for day tickets (upper 30s I think). Match lake and lake 1 are good for 20s and other fish.
It was quite wild when I was there so lots of fun stalking and finding fish. Think they've made it much more comfortable for anglers.

Hi yeah the nash team have been there recently and when I walked it a big name angler was over there talking with management.
I was told margins are best and when walking saw loads of good size fish under a foot from the bank so good advice thanks i'll be giving that a go..

Thanks for reply yeah seems to be a very good stock of over 30's which is why i'm going to be a regular .. my 30lb pb will hopefully be beaten several times in pit2 time will tell...
