Had a few good days catching off the surface during the recent hot weather.

I've been banding chum mixers and feeding the same straight out of the bag.

Only slight problem is the biscuit starts to sink pretty quickly under the weight of the hook as it takes on water, which means constant changing of the hook bait.

Will adding an oil to the dog biscuits slow down the time they take on water and start to sink ?

It might get you another minute or two. You're better off with a cut down pop up or fake mixer tbh mate.

I've always used pop up tiger nuts as the hook bait or a Cork ball, I've had plenty of fish on both. As for adding oil, adding a bit of salmon oil to softened biscuits has always worked well for me
