Well after nackering my reel last year I thought hope was in sight when F.R customs made them and started selling. Result.... Well after waiting 3 months from buying it and countless bull&@£ excuses and promises updated that never followed he refunded me. I wouldn't mind but I posted an item to the Netherlands and took 2 weeks, I can't honestly see a small Jiffy bag sized envelope taking 3 months, and he couldn't give any details on postage, EVEN that could be possibly excused if he's replied when promised... anyways, does anyone else know of one I could possibly get??

You could try Ants reel servicing,he is based in Alsager Cheshire.Hes an engineer and might be able to help you out,he's very helpful and only heard of very positive feedback

Spookily just looked on his Facebook and there is a video of xt sliders he has sorted out

Vinnies you must know Colin Reed? Reedy on here, he is based in Ferring and services reels, remember him telling me about a guy making parts for your reels but he based abroad and an utter pain to deal with, may be worth you contacting Colin.

I ‘know' Colin, yeah I think that's frank from F.R customs. Massive shame as his work looks really impressive, just seems he can't walk his arse to the post office How he runs a business is beyond me, I'm sure he must bury his head in the sand when things go tits up, and from reading a few comments- happens quite a bit.
