I'm looking for a bedchair for my mate who is being a tight arse and wants a bedchair from new for under £80.
It seems like there's 3 decent options from Advanta, JRC and TF Gear. Has anyone tried any one of these or better still owned them for a long time and there still going strong?
He doesn't want a secondhand one and it looks like secondhand ones have gone to silly prices now anyway.

Had you got any links or model names? I had an old daiwa bed about 10 years ago probably cost me the same, horrible thing, restless nights and back pain too.
I'd suggest he either find them in a shop and try them himself or push the budget and get the bed that everyone raves at on here the wychwood compact tactical. Have one myself and it's brilliant if a bit more cash.

I was after the wychwood tactical bedchair myself. Its like bloody gold dust. Very rare to find them second hand within a reasonable driving distance and the ones that were got snapped up very quickly. I think they have stopped making them new because I couldnt find any new.
I ended up getting the Sonik one but now need another for my mate.

It may be worth contacting your local tackle store and seeing if they have any dates for more wychwood stuff coming into the country. Depending on whether your mate wants one or not.
I doubt wychwood would have stopped making such a popular product but ya never know
