Love these reels. I think a folding handle for transportation is cherry on top. Just bought 3 from future reel servicing , brand new ones that are same as ones on the old black emblem x reels. If they do fit as he says I'll be a happy man. If anyone knows this not to be the case please let me know

just to add the older black emblem handles do fit these reels. just fitted mine, they go very nicely with the reel. nice matt black compared to the shiny ones they come with

only problem is he only had 5 and I took 3

he reckons they were the last 5 in the country but I'm sure they could be sourced with a bit of digging. or buy the emblem 45 folding handle with wooden knob direct from daiwa.

Weston Developments do them with a wooden handle but £75 each

That's a shame they are a bargain at 35. I had a look at the Weston ones but couldn't bring myself to spending 200+ just on some handles.

They are nice though...!

you could pick up a set of second hand emblems for 200 odd quid , swap the handles and you also have 3 spare reels then thats what i would do
