I'm in the market for new alarms and the fox rx+ are edging it but wanted to know if they have a mute function.
I can't decide between these the delkims,(but they don't have drop back tone, or changeable LEDS).
Or the wolfs which have everything but look rubbish (in my opinion).
Any help appreciated

I never have the sound on my heads....receiver in your pocket on low or turn the sound off on that too and just have it on vibrate

Having owned an alarm with a mute function i never use ot so i wouldn't let that sway you, its far easier to just the alarm off and then on again like you've always done, unless its something youre used too?
Oh, unless you have delkims that then make that god awful noise when you turn the head off.

To be fair no I haven't,
I've had mute function on my last 2 sets of alarms and like it so would ideally like it again. If you turn off the alarms with either the delks or the fox the the receiver goes into meltdown as they think their being stolen so would rather not have that to be honest.

The anti theft on the rx + receiver is a bit **** . Nothing like delkims. So I wouldn't let that stop you switching them off to mute them

Ive been a delks user for 30 odd years. Had all models including the latest txi D which i sold as they let me down and had to have them all replaced by delkim for new ones. Never thought i would change to fox...
Ive now got the fox RX plus far better than delks imo. I dont miss the constant false bleeps of delks. A leaf hits the line etc or wind and rain... drive you mad. . If the rx bleeps somethings happening down the line.
There are Loads of txi d coming onto the second hand market. Glad i changed, they are over complicated and unreliable from my experience.
