Gents,

Am purchasing a van (Partner or Berlingo) in October and made my mind up after snapping a rod getting a quiver out of a Vauxhall Corsa

Now, The running costs are going to be significantly higher considering the corsa is just 30 quid tax, Group 4 and 68mpg.

So to help with these running costs, I thought I'd get a side gig to soften the blow and utilise the rear of the vehicle so it essentially pays for itself. Does anyone have any side gigs like Amazon, Next, Multidrop, Furniture movements etc that they do on top of their main role? I'm guessing if I do go down this route, I may need to register as a sole trader for tax purposes.

And you should get vehicle business insurance rather than SDP
You can't transfer no claims discount over either which is annoying
