Hi guys

I'm doing 24hrs on Rosewater Carp Fishery at ringstead in the next few weeks. I've never been to/fished it before I just wondered if anyone on here has, and might be able to offer any info/advice on the place.

No idea how it fishes nowadays. Tbh I thought it had closed down after the chap that runs it found out that his nephew was pocketing all the takings.
The area has a rich history of big old English carp (and a few big old French ones lol). Unfortunately it has an even richer history of otters. It used to hold a few nice commons back in the day when it was a trout water but I understand they're long gone. It was stocked to start this day ticket set-up, I believe with VS fish. If the otters have stayed away (unlikely) the water has great potential as the lakes all around it have form for producing special fish.

It's on my (must try list) for tench next spring, apparently there's big tench to be had.
Your right about the otters though.....

Next door is rammed full of big tench so it makes sense

how did you get on at rosewater mate ? whats it like to fish any nice fish in there and are the otters still present there
