I've just bought cheap a advanta discovery ccx bedchair
It's great but i need something wider with more support
The one I have I sink into it alot
I'm 20stone and 6ft tall
My budget is about £280 max and don't need system as I have a 5 season sleeping bag

I'm 6'1" 15stone . . Wychwood Tactical X Standard is plenty big IMHO . . .depends where you 'hold' your weight lol . . .

just BE CAREFUL !
as some of them are not rated to take 20 stone (127kg ) you dont want one snapping in the middle of a session so please check max weight capacity before splashing the cash

What about the Nash indulgence wideboy
Is that no longer around. I'm heavy and yet the bed is still going strong. Must be 15 years.

At 5.10 and at my biggest was 23stone just under 20 now and the only bed I found stable and comfie as far as I'm concerned anyway is the nash ss3 wideboy i can sit on the frame while cooking and making a bru and had no problems at all.

Fox flatliter deals with me pretty well. May be worth a look.

Had mine for four years(ss3 indulgence wide boy 5 season). Comfortable, warm, spacious. Used regularly with no issues. Best thing is unrestricted movement for 16 stone six footer. Recomended.

My original wideboy has also twice been used by my son as a real bed. For 3 months when we moved in here. And this year for two months when he broke his leg.
I too hav e never heard so much as a creak from it. Maybe the weight is an issue it's about 12kg I think.

granted its not within budget, but the solar SP C wide is a beast and uber firm.

I'm a big old lump too
6ft 1 probably the same weight due to a injury, but losing it
But I've had a trakker els bedchair for over 5 years, and when I was at my heaviest
And honestly I can't fault it,
I've had no problems and the best nights sleep on any bedchair I've ever had,
And I go right back to the fox Km bedchair
and even excellent for a bad back
Well worth the extra money, trust me
I've also heard good reviews about the solar one,
But only had experience with the trakker one

The Nash Indulgence Wide is by far the best bed That I have owned....... and I have had many over the years.
But be in no doubt that it is heavy and takes up a lot of space in your bivvy (as you would expect). I have the 5 season system and it's brilliant.

i am a similar size to you and find the chub 8 leg wide bedchair absolutely perfect, do not know if they are still available, maybe have to shop around, but they were reasonably priced and super comfortable with the elastic being down the center on the underside.
