I'm fishing one water at the moment which is very busy... 10 swims / 40 members so always quite a few on.
The majority all seem to be using the same bait and putting quite a bit in. So I'm just wondering if it's even worth trickling any bait in. I'm on a different bait which I'm 99% sure nobody else is using and can get down the lake almost every week even if I'm not fishing but a lot of bait has been going in and it has been fishing really hard lately since spawning.
Just don't want to make things worse by introducing more bait if they aren't eating it. I've only got 10 kilos at the moment but was going to just try and bait a few spots away from the popular areas to try and avoid people fishing over them.
Any advice appreciated thanks!

If it's fishing poorly and lots of bait going in I'd say the last thing you want to be doing is putting more in.
Maybe fish solid bags so you're fishing with a bit of attraction round the hook bait. If you start to get bites then put more bait in.
Prebaiting when everyone else is baiting heavily completely defeats the object IMO.

Change lake, im being serious, if not try 3 baits on a hair etc, keep thinking, most carp anglers are sheep

Have been in this position . .either get on the going bait (and let them do the pre-baiting for you) or start to introduce yours everywhere . . .and I mean everywhere. Obvs if you are fishing a 40+ acre pit it may be difficult but if feasible sticking out a kg at the end of a session over the the entire lake (you may need to do this in the dark so as not to p*ss others off) will get them used to / accept / looking for yours and can pay dividends . . .would do this rather than over less well known spots as they are probably less well known for a reason . . .

Depends how confident you are in your bait, I took a bait that was guaranteed never fished there and caught steadily all week, that was birchgrove Shropshire. Stuff what they're doing, why not go in with some chopped tigers and Brazil nuts as well in very small quantities, and never forget the salted pva bag particle approach. I would love a challenge like that .

Nobody uses particles in pva anymore and they definitely don't use sweetcorn in pva

I'm not naming their bait as don't want to be seen to be bad mouthing the company.
Mine is one of Kenny Gate's baits.

Im pretty sure most bait companies know kennys bait is better quality than theres.
Stick with kennys, imagine he recommended the bait to you based on where you fish. Or if not will recomend something if you have a chat with him.
Either way, use it with confidence

No don't bother, if your confident your baits a winner.
What about tigers? Or hemp n corn? Or pellets in solid bags, be different.

Can only second that. I would even skip boilies and start fishing Tigernuts or maize or maples
Small baits will trick them faster.

If there are always people "on" then you shouldn't be baiting up anyway IMO. Prebaiting whilst people are fishing is ignorant and bad etiquette.
If you're confident in your bait then just fish well each session and I'm sure you'll be fine.
