Not an issue I'd worry about done it plenty of times works perfectly well, only one brand it's just put in the bin and burn personally. I've been crimping various materials for decades and the two main faults are under compression the material weakens after a few weeks so a quick pinch is needed and secondary the material has to be able to withstand the initial water contact forces

Knot a swivel to one end, crimp a swivel to the other end, pull for a break and see which one breaks first. Repeat a couple of times.
