Anyone using these in 3lb+ tc, opinions please.

The 3lb are a very soft through actioned blank. Defo not a casting tool, beautiful action though. Depends what you want them for? Still a bit unsure of the alps reel seats mind.

Think they only go to 3.5lb i would have a play with one first as its a lot to shell out. Never had a play with the higher test curves. Got the 2.5's and the blank on them is superb. Century rods are usually tip heavy but the graphenes are beautifuly ballanced. No horrid 50mm rings on the 2.5's either.

Goose, casting or boat work. If its boating the 3lb are superb. Casting, deffo not the ones.

Casting, they do list a 3.75tc.
