I don't own or use a Barometer, but, the pressure can make
a difference to the way you fish, high = fish in the upper
layers, low = fish are more likely to be in the lower layers.
Anyone use a Barometer, doe's it make a difference or is
it an old wives tale?

Been studying the barometer for many, many years, and not much sense to be made from it. Carpy low pressure conditions, well enjoy, but for all the times that i have experienced it there are more times when it didn't come together because of air pressure. Same for high pressure, many, many times they were having it big time on the bottom.

What i did find is that sudden fluctuations puts them off, wait 24 hours for either stable high or low and they are on the feed again.

Many will telll you otherwise btw , but this is what i make from it. All in all, there's never one factor determing the outcome.

Look at where your water is in relation to sea level👍
