I've just started soaking some shelf life boilies in a bait additive and then covered in a krill meal powder, how long should i leave them for ? And do I need to air dry them when i use them ?

Id say trial and error. Some glugs will make baits softer, some harder, some will go softer and then harder etc. If its all shelf loke ingredients theoretically it can last forever. There are no rules.

I usually pit liquids on boilies the day or 2 before fishing, but if i dont use it all ill happily keep it and use it next week, bit i do find in a week it gets a bit stodgy and to me, less appealing.

If you cut one of the boilies open you should be able to see hoe far its soaked in. But its all up to you. See what works best.

I normally put liquid on the night before I go. Had bites straight away at times when hookbait has been placed right next to freebies, so I'm confident in it.

I always find that shelf life baits don't actually soak any liquid in and thst the liquid just coats it so doesn't matter if you prep them a day before going or a minute before you go.

Jules cundiff method mate freeze the shelf life's first then take them out of the freezer and glug at the thawing stage they will suck the liquids up like a sponge
