Yes you can adjust the brightness. How to do so is in the instruction sheet that comes with the alarm.

I thought the night markings were on permanent and it's its only the run brightness yiu can alter in night mode,the dull glow on each ear which remains permanently on n night mode can't be adjusted.

This is what I've found. I can adjust the run brightness but not the night light brightness and yes I've got the instructions and have followed them....
Admittedly I've only played with them for a few hours but have managed to make other adjustments no problem..... after having other alarms they are a bit fiddly....

There are day and night modes, day mode - no markings and bright run light (setting 8) Night mode - dull night marking and run light (setting 4) you can switch between the 2 with the push of a button, and change the brightness levels in each setting too.
Not sure if you can change the night marking brightness.

you can alter the run brightness on each mode day and night from 1-8
but the night markings that stay lit up in the ears remain at one fixed brightness and cannot be altered.

Buttton 2 alters the night light. Press once to enter night mode if daylight, then press and hold button 2 and it will adjust 8 different settings.
i turn my run light down for night mode so i don't get blinded

the night marking is fixed and has a lower output compared to the TXi. You can adjust the run and latch brightness in night mode in a similar fashion to adjusting the daylight brightness.
